All of Bond Corp's. "tackifier" treatments are proprietary formulations developed by Bond, and are thus unique in the industry. The materials are all-solids, non-setting, thermplastic (hot-melt) type. They contain no free oils, natural waxes or silicones. Because they do not contain VOC's (no volatile solvents) or water, they will not not dry-out, harden or darken over time -- they stay permanently tacky even outside of their packaging. Each formula is a distinct blend of several resins, tackifiers, elastomers, plasticizers and adjuncts that is blended to achieve a particular combination of adhesion, cohesion, wet-tack and other adhesive properties. Bond's formulas can be customized or newly developed for special applications.

GOLD formula, available in Standard, Less Tacky or Extra Tacky cloth treatment weights, is made with natural wood resins that contribute a unique combination of tack and color. It is recommended for most applications, particularly wood finishing. And Crystal ® Premium®, the most popular tack cloth in US autobody repair shops, is made with Bond's Gold Standard tack (as are Crystal ® Regular® & Utility®). Gold formula is offered in all weaves/weights of cotton gauze, as well as in Bond's "Lint Free" Polyknit fabrics.

WHITE formula, available in Standard, Less Tacky or Extra Tacky cloth treatment weights, is most similar to Bond's Gold formula but without the wood resin or its golden color. It is offered in all weaves/weights of cotton gauze.

Lite & Dry ® formula is white in color. It is highly unique to the industry, having been specially designed by Bond to resist resin transfer in the most sensitive applications on warm or highly polished surfaces. The formula is made with adhesive materials of the highest viscosity and melt point, and must therefore be "thermoset" into the cloth under the hightest pressure and temperature of any hot-melt tack cloth treatment on the market. Lite & Dry ® was originally designed to clean the warm copper layers during the "lay-up" process of CCL's (copper-clad laminates) in electronics fabrication ("fab plants") of circuit boards. It is also recommended for limited use on optics and other highly critical surfaces, or on injection-molded parts (automotive fascia, bumpers, etc.) that must be prepared while still warm, to conrol ambient dust (not the amounts of dust that are generated by sanding or other abrasive surface preparations). It is offered in a medium gauze weave/weight of 20/16 mesh.

B W S T is naturally gold in color, due to the content of wood resins, and is formulated to be slightly drier in tack than Bond's Gold formula. It is recommended for applications that are a bit more sensitive than where Bond's Gold or White formulas can be used, such as automotive basecoat/clearcoat finishes or in automotive assembly paint process. It is offered in cotton gauze of medium weave/weight 20/16 and 24/20 mesh (as in Crystal ® Special®), as well as in Bond's "Lint Free" Polyknit fabrics (such as in Crystal ® Perfect Poly®).

B W T T is naturally gold in color, due to the content of wood resins, and is formulated to be drier in tack than either Bond's Gold or B W S T formulas. It is offered in cotton gauze of a loose, light weave/weight of 20/12 mesh. Bond's B W T T 20/12 Tack Cloth is economical and well suited to maintenance dusting of houses, institutions & facilities.
